Who we are
Greenland Place Community is a group of volunteer flat owners at Greenland Place. We run this website to share information and to coordinate owners. We are not yet a registered association. To reach us, use the form on the Contact Us page.
What we collect
When you register we ask for:
- your full name, username and email address
- your block and flat number
- whether you are a Full Owner or a Shared Owner, and whether you live in the flat or sub-let it
- your mobile or telephone number
- the date and time you agreed to this policy
When you use the Contact Us form we receive the name, email address and message you type in. When you log in, WordPress sets cookies so the site can recognise you (see Cookies below).
Why we collect it
- To check that you own a flat at Greenland Place before we show you the owner pages. This is why we ask for your block, flat number and owner type.
- To contact you about the website, your registration and matters that affect owners, using your email address or telephone number.
- To keep the website secure and to manage who can see which pages.
We rely on your consent when you register (you tick the box on the registration form). You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete your account.
Who can see your details
Your details are visible to the volunteers who run the website (Moderators and Administrators). We do not publish them, we do not sell them and we do not share them with anyone else, except where the law requires it. Other owners cannot see your details.
Where your details are stored
Your details are held in the website database and emails are sent from the website. UK-based provider is used for hosting services.
How long we keep your details
We keep your details for as long as you have an account. If you ask us to delete your account, or if we find that you are no longer an owner at Greenland Place, we delete your details.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to show you the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, restrict how we use them, or give you a copy. You can correct your own details on your profile page after you log in. For anything else, contact us through the Contact Us page.
Cookies
The website uses only the cookies WordPress needs to keep you logged in and to remember your login. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
